Narrative Plan

Hi guys. I'm Back! So today I am going to be talking about my narrative plan. It was easy to do but sometimes you don't know what to do when it comes up to a hard bit. Here is my plan.  

My Narrative Plan

Setting:	Main Character Olivia 15   year   old    Girl. Long Blonde Hair  Blue eyes    Light  Brown  Skin Blue and Purple white togs.	Other Characters: Maddie (Best friend) Paris  (Sister)	Problem: Going swimming at the beach  big wave comes and takes. Them to a big rock  another Big wave comes takes them to a small Island They are stuck there calling for help.	Resolution: Finds help and gets picked up from a Boat.
Details: Pretty sunset Calm waves Wash up on a Island Siting there for help Big wave comes and sucks them under the wave and takes  them to a big rock. another wave comes and takes them to  Island	Personality / Actions: Annoying Lots talks not much  does not listen Brush her hair a lot  Play around And is on her Ipad and ipod a lot stays up until 2:00 am On snapchat and instagram every day.	Personality / Actions: Paris is on her phone every day on snapchat and instagram  does not listen talks to her friend every day And stays up until 3:00 am in the morning not a morning person. Maddie up to 12:00 am talks a lot mean. on ipad a lot on snapchat every day. On instagram now and again And have  friends around every weekend for the night.	Events: Walk back to the Beach house have a big long warm shower then goes back to town to explore it.	Ending: Goes back to the beach to find Maddie left on the beach. But she was out in sea drowning they get there boat out go as fast as they can then they grab her hand and pick her up and put her on the boat and go back to shore.

Maths

Hi guys, I'm back!
So today I am going to be talking about my maths. So today at maths we had this rotation. What we did there was teacher, or tablesmaster, or a challenge. At tablesmaster, we practiced our 5x lots of times. I am trying to get as fast as I can. After tablemaster, we had this maths game that is pretty fun. It is called Bowl-a-fact. It was a triangle and there were circles that had numbers in them. It went up to 20 and we had to make equations that equalled those numbers. On the tablemaster we had to do 5 times tables and try and beat your score. My lowest was 45 seconds and on teacher lesson we had maths to do that was pretty fun. We are learning to multiply larger numbers together with a new strategy.

Robotics

Hello guys its me Tyla so today I'm going to be blogging about Robotics.

So every Wednesday we go in groups to the Hall. The groups we go in is our Literacy groups. I go with Mrs Carr for my group and what we do is build like this robot type of thing. It is pretty fun but the hard thing is that you have to work things out. Then when we go to our next session, we go and use the iPad  and control them. It's pretty cool and it the end, we do a race but we don't get any prize but does not matter. That's all I've got today. Bye guys!

Here is an example: so you have to have a key to see what the numbers Make then you draw a graph after that I drew a full circle, then a half, then a full. The top one was 45, then the next one was 70, then the next one was 15 and I added them all up and it all made 130.

Holiday Post

Hello Guys I'm Back Again  

 In the holiday I went to Taupo for the day to go to the snow but when we got there it was raining so we went to the park. Then after that we went shopping. Then went out for lunch. After lunch, we went to the Ice slide. The ice slide was pretty fun. We did it like 3 or 4 times. It was so fun. Then after that, we went to the pools and swam for 3 hours so from 2.00 clock until 4.30. It was fun. We went to  Debretts. I went down all of the slides there. I went down the orange slide and the Blue slide. You race down.  The other one  was my favorite one thing, but I forgot it's name. 

There is one thing I don't like about their  pool, is in the Green pool. You can not put your head under water.
After we were fished we went to the truck stop to eat dinner and then headed home. We got home at 7.00 at night. It was a pretty fun day there!

I am learning to communicate my ideas effectively to the reader.

You choose the topic and you choose the writing purpose. This needs to be your best independent writing for assessment. Below is the success criteria for quality writing. Use this criteria and go for it!

Success Criteria (Sentence formation has been our main focus)
Content & Ideas	Include a range of ideas with clear details.
Sentence Formation	Include simple, compound and complex sentences Start most of my sentences with different words
Vocabulary	Choose words and language features to meet my purpose.
Structure	Clear beginning, middle and end with paragraphs.
Spelling	My best spelling with good attempts at words I don’t know.
Punctuation	Use all basic punctuation (capital letters, full stops, question marks and exclamation marks) correctly and attempt some complex punctuation.

The Little girl

Once upon a time there was little girl named Tracy she always loved Animals every day and night she snuck out of her bed and Jumped out her window she got all her animals And Chucked them on her bed.  played with them all night until 6.00 am Then she grabbed all her animals  Put them in there cage and jumped back in her window and and hopped back into bed and went back to sleep.  Her mum came in to wake her up and she saw with her two eyes she looked down and the little puppy was peeing right on her foot then she hears her mum bursting out her name Tracy!!!. She jumps Straight up and says good bye mum have fun cleaning it up and she sprints out of her bed and opens her window Jumps and Run fast as she can then her mum Comes running super fast and gets her and says you are … not ground!!! Tracy says yay!!!. Two weeks later her birthday is here she is turning 8 her mum brings her presents out  the night before her birthday what does Tracy do now. She gets soap sprays it all over the new carpet it was sticky like no one will walk on there she hears her mum coming down the hallway and Tracy has no way to get back to her Room.

Passion Project

This is my passion project. This is my link to the slide Slide show. This is what it is about.

It is about stopping people hitting cats and dogs so not running them over and facts about why you should not run over cats and dogs. I hope you enjoy it.

How far did you get with your passion project? What would have helped you to get further?

I got to the end with my passion Project and If I did a lot more I would sit in the Silent Room and Sit by myself.

What was the most challenging part of your passion project?

What was surprising about your passion project?

That it turned out good when I was finished.

I did at the start but when I got down to the end I did not follow it because I also want to do facts why you should not hit cats or Dogs.

Which learning muscles did you use the most while you were working on your passion project? How did you use each one? Perseverance, I got stuck on my last slide and I tried and tried To get it finished.

Zebras week 5 task:

Math Task week 1

This is my math task and it took a day for me to do it. It was hard but then it got easy then hard. It was a really fun math task. I really like doing this learning task.

I was learning how to estimate and then measure accurately. It is an important skill.

She is going to be stick house and the wolf and we might change it to a cat so there will be twist to it.

MATERIALS                     

Stick house: we are going to use the little sticks or iceblock sticks

We are using popsicle sticks for the straw house

Shapes for the brick house    

How we are making the puppets

We are using eyes that stick

Glue to stick nose down

We will need black paper for the nose

Instead of the wolf, it is going to be a cat.
We are going to us white paper for the whiskers
Light pink paper for the nose.

The old New Zealand is not looking like UnIon Jack Flag.

The new flag looks better than the old flag and everyone should vote for the new flag because it supports all of New Zealand  because it is nice looking.

It is better looking, it stands out and it supports New Zealand.
